Curriculum Vitae
I have over 40 years experience with horses. There are few areas of equestrianism with which I have not been involved. I have experience in 3 day eventing, Show Jumping, Dressage, Showing, Pony/Riding Clubs, Hunt Racing ,Team Chasing, Hunting.
Experience with Horses
-
Former international 3 day event rider (short-listed world championships, long-listed Olympics) Won and placed at numerous international 3 day events including Badminton and Burghley

Show Jumped to high level at both senior and junior level including being Leading Junior Showjumper.

Shown at Horse of the Year show on many occasions in many different categories. Winner of the Mountain and moorland championship at Olympia.

Ridden and placed in both the Melton Hunt Ride and the Golden Button Hunt Ride

Hunted with 42 packs in England/Ireland

Ran my own competition/hunter livery yard.

Have broken in and schooled many hundreds of ponies and horses for all disciplines

Practising commoner on the New Forest. (Farming of Semi Feral Ponies)

Has attended all major horse auctions in England and Ireland for the past 30 years as both Buyer and Seller

Judged at The Horse of the Year Show and at nearly all major county shows.

Bought and sold horses and ponies all my life and advised many people accordingly.

Present council member for the New Forest Pony and Cattle Breed Society

Currently
-
On a daily basis still continuing to break in and train horses and ponies, from 12 hands upwards, specialising in retraining difficult horses and ponies, sometimes with long-standing behavioural problems.

Advising clients on buying and selling horses and generally supplying equestrian expertise and advise from basic to international level at home and abroad.

Running small private livery yard
